Apison Announcements! - Bulletin, Upcoming Events & Reminders

October 19

Weekend Update

Dear Church Family,
Have you been enjoying fall? Fall break has been lots of fun for our family. And of course, the fall brings some exciting fun events for our church family as well!!!
Have you made plans to attend the Fall festival this Sunday?
I hope you also make plans to bring the family and invite some friends for Apison's first Reformation Day event October 31, 5:30-7 pm.

Check it out:
Both these events are aimed not only at enriching the community experience of our church family but also reaching our community. Your presence makes all the difference!

Here are some important thoughts to remember from Ellen White:

"Some think that if they give money to this work, it is all they are required to do; but this is an error. Donations of money cannot take the place of personal ministry. It is right to give our means, and many more should do this; but according to their strength and opportunities, personal service is required of all.""With earnest hearts, let us inquire, Who is my neighbor? Our neighbors are not merely our associates and special friends, they are not simply those who belong to our church, or who think as we do. Our neighbors are the whole human family. We are to do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. We are to give to the world an exhibition of what it means to carry out the law of God.Go to your neighbors one by one, and come close to them till their hearts are warmed by your unselfish interest and love. Sympathize with them, pray for them, watch for opportunities to do them good, and as you can, gather a few together and open the Word of God to their darkened minds. Keep watching, as he who must render an account for the souls of men, and make the most of the privileges that God gives you of laboring with Him in His moral vineyard."
—The Review and Herald, January 1, 1895.

Our prophecy meetings continue tonight, tomorrow morning, and tomorrow night! Christ is being lifted up. People are making decisions for Him. I hope to see you there!

Have a blessed Sabbath,
Pastor Jason
